. I had the 'opportunity' to use this thing just a few days after ordering it. When towing a vehicle, there are many other things to consider aside from whether your tow strap is still attached to the recovery vehicle. This thing makes it a matter of preparation and you can beat it out of your mind. The only things I'm not very happy with are the red plastic works that didn't really stay in place or the D-Links that I bought at the store. the same company. Taking this thing apart until its metal components are fully functional, easy to operate even with thick gloves in the cold, and you can get one variable out of your head while you recover.
