Unbelievable: radio antennas

I bought this antenna for my motorhome. To try it out, I put it on a stand in my living room and hooked it up to my home stereo. I live about 45 miles from my favorite station and have a 40 foot double row of pine trees in my back yard right between me and the station. I tried at least a dozen different antennas including 3 active ones. I paid $80 for the one I use now. I always have to run in mono to hear without too much noise. I adjust the antenna constantly. This thing has my signal meter LOCKED, in stereo, crystal clear like I've never heard before. Unbelievable. I buy another one, put it on and hang it in my living room. (Don't worry, no woman) A word of caution. During assembly, it behaves as if it would not connect without bending or breaking anything. Be Gentile, be patient and don't use the monkey hand. It fits together perfectly. I can see where this can break plastic parts if you use too much force. Walk slowly and use common sense, there are no instructions. Just a chart. Update: I took this thing on a hike up the hills in the valley, over 60 miles from the stations we're listening to. Just 6 feet off the ground, it rose perfectly. Stereo. More stations than we've ever pulled from there. Buy it, you will like it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No instructions
