Very high quality FM Loop antenna. Designed for installation at your home (outdoors or attic), office or on an RV. Absolutely above first class!

This antenna is amazing. I just assembled it, placed it on a 6 foot piece of 1 inch PVC and attached it to my garage with 12 inch wall brackets and 25 foot premium cable. It extends about 4 feet above my roofline. Using a simple Terk antenna, I picked up 13 stations on my Proton Stereo Radio (4 in very noisy stereo). With the Britta Products antenna I can now receive 48 stations (35 in excellent stereo). This is a wonderful quality product. I would like to give more than 5 stars!

Also good directional antenna

I live in an area where it is very difficult to get good FM (or TV) reception due to the surrounding hills. I used an amplified indoor antenna, which worked better than a dipole but amplified both noise and signals. First I assembled and installed the hinge in the attic. Overall reception improved, but the classic station I listen to most was still difficult to tune in cleanly. So, following the advice of James Kelly, who received 3 stars of "highest critical rating", I opened up the S-shaped…

Answers! - Audio and video accessories

We have lived in this house for 6 years and have struggled with FM reception the whole time. We're not sure what changed, but after occasional reception problems with the high-gain indoor unit, we suddenly lost reception, and moving the indoor antenna and adjusting the gain didn't help. We bought a Britta loop antenna and mounted it on the back of the roof using a simple J-bracket. We put the cable through the same little hole as the TV cable and suddenly we got channels we didn't even know…

Bad news, good news

First the bad news. When I connected the antenna to the antenna analyzer for measurements, I was very disappointed. I am a radio amateur for many years and have an antenna analyzer that I use to test my antennas. And it was useful to test this antenna. When set up as shown in the picture, the center frequency of the antenna is 84 MHz. and the SWR of the VHF antenna averages 3.5:1. Not good. Now the good news. I was able to greatly improve the antenna by mounting one of the aluminum sections of…

Quality Made Antenna

To test the antenna, I placed it on a wooden pole and connected it in the same room as my audio receiver using a standard cable. A big improvement over a wire antenna in the same place as the receiver, so it does what it says on the tin. This is installed in the attic for better reception. A bit pricey but well made with a nice heavy duty mounting clamp and note that it comes with a built in transformer so it matches standard cable impedance without buying an adapter. It's slightly directional,

Unbelievable: radio antennas

I bought this antenna for my motorhome. To try it out, I put it on a stand in my living room and hooked it up to my home stereo. I live about 45 miles from my favorite station and have a 40 foot double row of pine trees in my back yard right between me and the station. I tried at least a dozen different antennas including 3 active ones. I paid $80 for the one I use now. I always have to run in mono to hear without too much noise. I adjust the antenna constantly. This thing has my signal meter…

Works great with accessories and supplies

I live in a townhouse/apartment so I don't have access to my roof. A few years ago the homeowners association removed all of the rooftop antennas (because we all have cable TV I guess) and I had no FM reception for my Yamaha receiver. A while ago I tried one of the Turk antennas with very poor results, so I gave up VHF reception for a while. Recently I decided to look for a solution again and came across this antenna on the Revain website. Since the reviews were mostly positive, I decided to…

It's worth it! stop looking It has doubled my FM channels!

This replaced my 300 ohm 2 wire antenna (internal) that was fitted to my Pioneer TX-9500 receiver. After unpacking, I doubted the quality of assembly. The assembly is very easy, however the parts are very light which makes them a bit cheap. It's probably for the best that they're as light as possible so you put less stress on what you're using to mount the antenna. I installed this in the attic using an adjustable Jansky antenna mount (not the best, but it's bolted to my house now) and 100 feet

Ideal all round FM antenna

I had a somewhat unusual problem with FM reception and was looking for a solution. All the FM stations I want to listen to are about 25 miles away, up a mountain range. There are three groups of antennas, with the outer groups being about 90 degrees from my location. Five stations interested me the most: one on the left, two in the middle, and two on the right. Two stations were 50,000 watts and three were only 20,000 watts. I had to install an antenna, whatever it was, in the attic of my…
