Review on πŸ“‘ Outdoor FM Loop Antenna: Ideal for Attic, Mounting, and RV Use by Jason Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Also good directional antenna

I live in an area where it is very difficult to get good FM (or TV) reception due to the surrounding hills. I used an amplified indoor antenna, which worked better than a dipole but amplified both noise and signals. First I assembled and installed the hinge in the attic. Overall reception improved, but the classic station I listen to most was still difficult to tune in cleanly. So, following the advice of James Kelly, who received 3 stars of "highest critical rating", I opened up the S-shaped antenna by flipping one of the elements over and pointing it at the hills separating me from the station. transmitter of interest. SIGNIFICANTLY improved reception at this particular station and no noticeable degradation in quality at other local stations. Excellent value for money and it got the job done for me.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Almost never
