I've used a lot of tape and ScotchBlue is by far my favourite. Some other brands are too tight on the roll, making the outside of the tape sticky in texture. Other brands have poor adhesion, which allows paint to seep into areas that don't belong. Duck drawing tape comes to mind as one of my least favorites. It just doesn't stick to the wall, it keeps spinning and falling off. I've been doing a few painting projects at home recently, relying on my ScotchBlue for them. I did the lines in my son's room and the tape helped keep the edges sharp and it came off cleanly when removed. I also used it to hold the decal on the wall while dotting and was able to peel off the decal and apply the same pieces of tape to different spots on the wall. The tape has such good adhesion without being overly sticky which is why it sticks multiple times. Definitely a good choice for some DIY projects.
