This is a great product but I think if you want to use it for construction you will need to buy 2 or use it as an accessory to the full size one you already have. . I liked the idea of a cheaper price and a bit of space, but when my daughter gets older and builds more by the end of the year I'll probably grab another one to put on top, so it's more like a real mini -Version of the larger one. This one is narrower but only has one layer instead of two - it would be better if it had a thin top layer that you can play with to build forts or obstacles. In addition, the two parts do not separate from each other, which complicates the task. I have a wedge and styrofoam for the stairs so I can do some stuff but make sure you know it only has one layer and not two like a full block or nugget but overall it's great and I do like the smaller size - but i think i'll put another one on top so i have a smaller sofa but two layers. This color and light blue are also very good colors.
