This part is poorly made showing age and wear of the plastic injection molding tool. There are many plastic burrs inside (and outside) where the guides meet in the tool. This flush disrupts the flow of black water from the toilet, causing bacteria-contaminated particles to build up. Ideally, black water lines should have as smooth a surface as possible within the part to prevent biofilm growth. I managed to cut the impregnation but the surface isn't as smooth as it should be. elsewhere for this part. The replacement part will likely come from the same tool and have similar problems.
