I ended up using this repair kit. While driving I had a puncture that was too big to deal with with the sealant alone and the sealant started squirting out of my tire. This plug kit did that quickly! When I first used it I wasn't sure what to expect. The connector strips feel very "sticky" when you try to pry them from the plastic they are wrapped in. It looked like melted resin and I thought they had kind of gone bad, but just pulling and peeling hard didn't really make them stick to my fingers. After inserting the plug, leave the "tail" of the remaining plug alone, do not try to cut it off. After a while it breaks by itself. Even on a slippery road tire, I haven't noticed a "bump" or anything like that when driving with a clogged tire. I definitely recommend taking one of these with you!
