If you use it right, it works well. I used this after a dye bath in clean, hot water and soaked and agitated the items for about 15 minutes. Some color will still come out of the fabric in the washing machine, which is to be expected, but it's about 1/10th what new jeans bleed from the store, so I'd say it does what it's supposed to.
