I bought this specifically for a heavy duty kitchen grout cleaner. It works so well it's shocking. One of the great advantages is that you NO longer have to use expensive seam cleaners. I've switched to the good old blue Windex and it works just as well as the $15 bottle of professional quality grout cleaner I bought at Home Depot. The only difference is that expensive grout cleaner smells awful and leaves a sticky residue, so get rid of it! An adjustable speed drill is absolutely necessary for this device. I've found that if you first "clean" the Windex on low speed, run it for 30 seconds, and then return to medium speed to clean, it gets the job done faster. Using this brush at high speed actually makes the job worse as it spreads the cleaner all over the place and dries out the area being cleaned. Another tip: turn the bit over every few minutes or the bristles will tilt in one direction and shrink. effective for scrubbing. Also, my drill gets pretty hot, but it probably depends on the drill. I suggest using the strongest drill you have plus one with a cord. If you try to use a cheap and/or cheap drill from another manufacturer, I bet it will overheat or burn out in no time. a lot of time, but there is virtually no hand fatigue compared to using elbow lubrication. I will definitely never wash my hands again.
