I chose tires to replace the old Kama, I wanted to get by with not very expensive ones, in the region of 2500. But in the process of choosing, I noticed the promotion "free tire fitting" from Nokian for this model. A complete change of shoes usually costs 1.5 thousand, so the difference between budget tires for 2400-2500 (for which such promotions are not made) and the new Nordman 7 has become quite insignificant. This is the first factor. The second is a high score in the Driving test. Let someone be skeptical about such publications, but personally, I would rather believe the old magazine than an anonymous person from the Internet. ZR noted Nordman as an all-round tire for both snow and asphalt. Speaking of asphalt: I thought between spikes and Velcro, now many people say that Velcro is better, but somehow I don’t know. Not in our climate. Sometimes I want to get out of the city, and the roads around the city are not cleaned everywhere and not always. I read that 3/4 of Finnish drivers choose spikes for the winter, so I decided not to show off either. So far, I haven’t driven very much, the wheels are still on the run-in, I don’t accelerate more than 80 and acceleration / deceleration is as smooth as possible. But nevertheless, we managed to test it in different conditions: a dry city, a city with a snowball, a highway with a snowball, a completely white road in gardening, driving up a hill and going down in the snow. There were no problems, it never led anywhere, the ABS is silent. I did not notice much noise - the engine makes more noise. Maybe you can hear it with the windows open, but I don’t smoke and that’s why I don’t open the window in winter, there is enough fan. A few words about the promised tire fitting - they did not deceive. I arrived, paid for the tires, immediately drove to a free site. They washed the whole old winter set in a special machine (they were on disks, along with them), then they took it off - they washed the summer ones in the same way. The old spikes were accepted for recycling, the summer ones were packed in bags. The whole process took about 15 minutes. Great. In general, the first impressions are excellent, and if something comes out later, I will definitely add it.
