The purpose of a tripod is to hold the camera and maintain elevation. This tripod did neither. The mechanism that tightens the neck of the tripod head after extending it was cracked and broken. It was originally held together with cheap thin plastic. Any added weight (even the weight of a small camera) and the height adjustment you make just fall behind. Not only that, but the tripod plate didn't work either. Although I firmly tightened the screw on the bottom of the camera, the tripod plate would not attach to the base. Enough space for the camera to rotate easily. 0/10 I think it will make a good paperweight.
