Originally I bought the item: Tenq® USB Programming Cable for Yaesu Vertex Vx-1r 2r 3r 5r 150 180 210 210a Ft-40r 50r 60r radio which I had to return due to chirp and some other The programming software could only retrieve from the FT-60's memory, but not write back, which resulted in an error. Then I bought this ADMS-1J cable which comes with its own software (very similar to Chirp) and works like a charm. It's more expensive, but it works properly. I recommend this item. Robust construction. Fast transfer.
