I bought three of these thinking the kids in our family would love them for Christmas. This was just to make the cousins laugh while they were together. It turns out that the various settings on this device are almost identical, only slightly different in height. I wasn't expecting the world, but I did expect the ability to distinguish one sound setting from another. How long have the kids been using them? Long enough to realize that all sound settings are basically the same. Two minutes, no more. When you see that 22% of buyers rate something with 1 star, it must mean something to you. Buy it and you'll be in the 22% pretty quickly.
