This callus remover comes with 2 replacement pads. One is a razor blade and the other looks like a cheese grater. The razor blade is supposed to be the first thing you use BUT it's absolutely TERRIBLE. It's very sharp and doesn't snap. The blade slips around, making it extremely dangerous. I will not be using a razor blade piece in the future. A "cheese grater" use seems to be more effective. I didn't have any major calluses, but I do have some "hard" bits on my heels and big toe bones from working out. The grater very carefully removed the plaque. It looked like fine dust. You can apply some urea cream with it, moisten and it will be better, if you really want to try our callus shaver, just dip your feet first after feet soften, then use the shaver slowly.
