I bought these scissors mainly to use in the kitchen for cutting various plastic and paper packaging. It has proven very useful so far, gliding effortlessly over plastic and paper, both thick and thin. The soft grips come in handy unless you're trying to cut through something really thick or solid. As these are 6 inch scissors the handles are not as large as you might expect and as such may be uncomfortable for everyone. The scissors have a bit of trouble cutting through things like zip ties, so I'm wondering if they've gotten a bit stronger. would help. The pair of blades are so firmly attached to each other that the scissors do not open by themselves when you touch them. At this price these scissors represent good value for money.
