Cheap but......You get what you pay for. They're designed to be easy to use, so hopefully they'll last a long time. I bought these scissors mainly to use in the kitchen for cutting various plastic and paper packaging. So far it's proven very useful, gliding effortlessly over thick and thin plastic and paper. The soft grips come in handy unless you're trying to cut through something really thick or solid. As these are 6 inch scissors the handles are not as large as you might expect and as such may be uncomfortable for everyone.
