I have recorded many CDs and DVDs; There are usually some unexploded materials in each package. I used every brand I could find. TDK, like their clean cassettes, has always been the best. I have some printable blank Verbatim DVDs that work great and some non-printable blank Verbatim CDs that work fine. But any of these blank printable CDs: Verbatim White Inkjet CD-R, Printable Hub; Part No. 95252; 100 pieces; Made in China - they don't make quality wheels. They either start skipping after a few weeks, or the last few songs sound distorted and full of static from day one. I conducted an experiment after turning off my computer for 12 hours. I burned one of them, then a non-printable one, one like this and another non-printable one - all from the same image. Each of them ended up with distorted songs; not printable, which was also verbatim, worked fine. Even when I printed black on it, the color came out a washed out red-black. I've printed before and after on other brands of substrates in the same format and the color came out very well. I won't buy this again. Whether you just want to make a piece of art out of them or use a full bin as a paper press, they're great.
