Needed a solution to the problem of afternoon sun seeping under the shaded area of the canopy. It was the only one I could find and decided to buy it even at that price. It works but I was very surprised after reading the instructions where you wanted to drill and attach two brackets to the side of your camper van. This is a temporary shade and I was able to easily attach it to the Dometic canopy with the included ball bungee. No holes are required. I want it to cut more light. However, the difference was 16 degrees. The overall temperature of the screen under the canopy was 78°C. the full sun under the awning was 103 and the shaded part from the new side canopy was 87 degrees. If it blocked more sun, I think it could get closer to 78 degrees versus 87 degrees.
