It's not rocket science. This is a pitcher and a masher. Stainless steel jug, well marked, holds milk and has a handle. The rammer is heavy, feels good in the hand and fits perfectly in my car. I read all the reviews and found nothing bad about this set. The jug will not rust or discolor and the tamper is strong enough to work very well. Yes, there is a California State Lead Warning on the box as this rammer, like most rammers, is made of an alloy with traces of lead. Since it's plated and not put in the mouth or swallowed, it doesn't bother me at all. Either way, this set is a great purchase and looks reasonably well made.
