I have another similar stand that I used for my projector and laptop. I wanted a second one so I could use both at the same time (the projector sits next to the laptop, both on their own stand). Compared to my other, I liked that it can be folded less thanks to the possibility of folding the top. half, although I found it all a bit less solid overall. The center bar wobbled a bit, and the folding top was actually quite annoying when opening it for assembly because the screws had to be loosened and replaced again. Granted these are thumbscrews and you don't need any tools, but this annoyed me as they fell out when trying to hold them in place and decided it was best to just leave them assembled. Which begs the question, why fold at all? I also found that if I was using it with a laptop and typing, the whole thing would shake when I was typing. If you just want to use it as a projector stand where nobody will touch it, I think that's fine and it will work just fine. But if you want hardware that doesn't shake to the touch, I'd look elsewhere.
