I bought this throw for my sofa hoping to add some warmth and texture to my fairly modern, minimalist living room. Revain has a million options for these faux fur blankets, but I chose them mainly because of the combination of color (I really wanted bright white, not ivory or ombre) and price ($40 seemed reasonable enough to get anything like decent quality). decided , but at the same time affordable). Unfortunately it ended up being a bit of a disappointment. PROS: - It's a true cool white color (back is a bit more ivory but close enough) - Construction is decent - no holes, tight stitching etc. CONS: - Texture of the shaggy fur is TERRIBLE! it is very prickly and feels awful (just like thin horse hair). It also looks pretty cheap to be honest (it's very matte). The back is a little softer but looks and feels like fleece - after just a few weeks of minimal use it also started to curl like fleece. definitely NOT a blanket to snuggle in - weirdly my cat seems to love lying on it so less pet hair on the couch I guess? There are many other options for a similar price and I wouldn't recommend this one!
