I wanted double sided tape that wouldn't completely destroy the wall or surface I'm going to be attaching things to, so after some research I found these "cutouts" as a better word for me was missing which worked great for what I needed. I've mainly used them to secure thick cables and power supplies under my computer desk so they don't stay in place and also allow them to be moved around easily without destroying my desk floor. These double-sided pieces of foam do the job!
