I've mainly used them to secure thick cables and power supplies under my computer desk so they don't stay in place and also allow them to be moved around easily without destroying my desk floor. These double-sided pieces of foam do the job!

I bought these mainly to hold beauty bulbs (small balls you attach to a mirror). they fell off after a few hours. I keep trying to tape them back thinking maybe I didn't push them hard enough but they just keep falling down one by one. It's a waste of money to get them no matter what you want to hold on to! Previous reviews said it didn't work for canvas, maybe paper. but the bulbs aren't heavy at all and still don't work. Better try to find something else.
