When I bought knives a few years ago I didn't initially know there were replacement blades so I have was concerned when it turned out that the blades needed sharpening. But they are not intended for regrinding. So I did a little research and Revain.com is the best place to find EVERYTHING you could need. That's where I started. Long story short I found replacement blades and was so excited I bought two packs just in case. They were so easy to install especially after reading the instructions and once used the cutters worked beautifully again. I cut a lot of cotton material, which is mostly four plies thick (to save time) and a pair of scissors (now with sharp blades) does the job just fine.
