They will NOT hold up to 100 gallons of water. I .
They will NOT withstand 100 gallons of water. I've been using them since the beginning of this year. Cartridges stop filtering after two weeks. I used an average of about 30-40 gallons of water over two weeks, so the claim that one Pur cartridge lasts 100 gallons of water isn't true. I spend about $20 a month replacing cartridges which makes the polyurethane filter pretty expensive year after year.
