I used this for our most recent snow and it did exactly what it was supposed to. it will probably not hold up to frequent use with heavy snow but I am more interested in using it as a sun shield in the summer. it should be perfect for that purpose. I am pretty sure that a strong wind would pick it up so just keep that in mind. the other reviewers had mentioned the shortcomings so it was exactly what I expected.
