Well for starters let me first say that I'm actually an electrician by trade so keep that in my mind, even though car's electric is slightly different. So the idea of trying out the lights on the outside before I did a more comprehensive upgrade to my lights sounded like a good idea. I mean what harm could it cause right? So I followed the directions ran Everything nice and neat, and after I installed them I was quite surprised at how nice they looked. Unfortunately, the second I went to lock my car door from the key fob, I noticed the locks wouldn't lock and therefore my alarm wasn't on. I thought hey it's only one night, I'll get a replacement battery in the morning. Next day got a new duracell battery for my key fob and still nothing. It wouldn't lock, unlock or anything. I have a convertible and holding the unlock button down on the key fob for a few secs will roll down the windows and then open up the top. Well while at work the other day I ran to my car, (opened the door manually) then ran back to the jobsite. At lunch I had a guy approach me and start asking me if I meant to put my roof down when I left. I thought the guy was nuts until I realized what he was saying. So apparently after I walked away from my car, the top automatically opened up leaving my car exposed to anyone that would've walked by. If it wasn't for that guy staying by my car until he saw me later on, (He lived across the street) I would've been screwed. After doing research I finally figured out that LED's like these can cause cars electrical systems to go haywire and cause them to do all sorts of crazy things. I cut the wires immediately but the car is still acting up. Not happy
