Very impressed with the build quality and magnet strength. Works well through my phone case but the panels are so thin I chose to put one directly on my S5 and the other on my S5 case. This gives me more options to install. Pros: The suction is made of gel and will likely stick to the dog if you try. It stuck VERY firmly to my dashboard before I pressed the lever on the suction cup. I've never seen this thing fall off on its own while driving. The head is infinitely adjustable and there is also a crank wheel to tighten the head as you adjust it to your liking. There's even a little cord lock that secures the cord to your head so you don't have to catch the power cord every time you put your phone on it. The mount comes with 2 very thin mounting plates for your phone or phone case. They are so stylish that I installed the smaller one right on my phone. I've had other mounts that grip the sides of the phone and it's MUCH more secure than anything I've tried. It's also only on/off. On the one hand. No fiddling with holders that have to be opened to grab the phone. For my application, a 2015 F150, I installed it under a small compartment to the left of the air control panel at the bottom of the dash. This puts it a comfortable distance from my right knee. It's out of the sun to watch and out of my way to ride. Ideal! Someone on one of the F150 forums pointed out a spot ABOVE where they installed theirs. which made me look there first.
