Review on Acoustic kit Wharfedale DX-2 HCP 5.1 black by Kristine Tay ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product, more pros than cons.

Got pros: The speakers are really beautiful, the leather design makes them look a little more than the usual angular MDF boxes. It is possible to choose white/black color. The sound for the amateur segment is sufficient - watching movies, listening to music with bluetooth is pleasant, the difference with cheap 5.1 integrated with amplifiers is noticeable. Standing in an unprepared room with not the best amplifier (Denon S650H). Some cons: Fastenings at the back only in the form of a bracket for a self-tapping screw. There is no standard thread for the M6 screw, as well as brackets in the kit. For such a cost, they could not regret suitable 5 brackets, in order to hang at an angle, you have to invent your own solution. As a result, I used the simplest Trone AK 15, they have a plate with a bolt hole, I unscrewed the fasteners on the speakers and put a bolt head under them, screwed the fastener back on, then pulled it off with a nut with the bracket plate. It holds tightly, but I had to spend a couple of hours searching for the right fasteners and coming up with a scheme.
