Nice cage but some flaws

So I originally bought the old 30 x 18 x 18 cage that was $50 and it was damaged and seemed a bit cheap. But that's to be expected at this price. On the other hand, it was generally three times as much money for the same area. However, I have found that with this orientation there is a lot of free space at the bottom. All items listed below will be corrupted. Do not place toys or perches over food bowls. With a different cage, you have a lot more options for placing toys and perches. This cage only comes with one perch which I think should be at least two. If you want to use other perches and use the adjacent walls you will need to do some woodwork as the bars go in opposite directions. The seed catcher works but if you can see the photos there is a hole at the bottom. Therefore, when my bird flies, it simply destroys all the bodies. The box comes with corner protection but there is not enough protection for the rest of the box. I had holes and a few parts were bent. Bend the bars in place and flatten the tray for the bottom. No real protection inside, the cage is cardboard. The cage was very dusty and dirty. Wipe the parts before assembly. Also, the rubber for the wheels smells really bad, but they do weather. Now it is ok. Due to the tubular construction of all parts, it is much stronger than regular cages. Food bowls must not be taken out of the cage so that your birds cannot get them out. The bottom wire tray slides out for cleaning. The cage fits through most doors and the wheels roll pretty well. The flat top allows you to place an arena on it. Also, I wouldn't push all the wheels all the way until you lift the cage up and make sure it doesn't wobble. If this is the case, you can use the wheels to level the cage by sliding them halfway or all the way. When they go in, they don't really go out. In general the cage is good. My parrot would never go into his old tiny cage during the day but since he has free access to the room he likes to come back to this cage to play.
