I bought a large bladed shovel many years ago and needed to replace it. I thought it would be similar but was surprised it is so big. The grip is not as strong as I would like. I use a dust pan to scrape leaves off the sidewalk and driveway and this handle doesn't quite do the job. The grip also doesn't seem strong enough to handle anything heavier than leaves. Even in the photo you can see that the handle is tiny compared to the shovel. I'll try to somehow strengthen it so that it can withstand a large load in the shovel. I would say the handle is light and the shovel itself is average.
