Does anyone know if there is a competition among manufacturers to print out the smallest instructions? If so, then the manufacturer of this glue stick can win, even with a 30x magnifying glass I had trouble reading the operation of this device. However, I will save the rest of the world by telling you how to use it: 1. Before using, plug the USB cable into a 5V charger and wait for the red light to turn green.2. On the back of the pen, set the small black switch to ON3. Place one of the melting pellets in front of the sliding gate (see my photo). You should get a bag full of different colors including some with glitter as you see in my photo.4. Press and hold the large button on the back of the glue stick until the ring flashes white. This means it is heating up.5. When the white ring indicator is solid, you can begin to press the bead of glue into the heated head of the glue stick, which will then begin to spray a thin stream of hot glue (see my photo for an example). Note: If you want to change the color of the beads, be aware that some of the previous color will probably remain in the glue stick head. Personally, I will use this glue gun on projects where the standard size glue gun just pumped out bigger balls than I wanted or needed. I also suspect that you can use it to decorate things or fix small defects. I hope this review helps at least one person.
