I used to work in a high end pet shop and I agree that not everything is perfect all at once but this is a great one Start for an amazing water system to fight fish. The 3 gallon cube looks great and this is where it all starts. Once you have a tank that has the aesthetic you want, you can start building a filter and heater that works for you. As for this tank, I have to agree with previous reviewers that AZOO Mignon 60 is perfect for this tank. You can adjust the flow and use a better quality filter media than the one included in the kit. Combined with the Hydor 7.5W heater you have a great environment for your rooster to survive and thrive. I can't wait to set up this live plant aquarium for my crowntail. I'm glad I invested in something decent that can easily be turned into something good.
