Oh my God! It works amazing! If the 12v solar pwm will pass the panel voltage in volume absorption mode to really use the mppt in the wind, check the open circuit voltage of your panel. My 12v panel is open at about 20 volts. So here's how I set mine up. The 366 amp hour bank will later be upgraded to 488. I have the float set at 14 volts, my low voltage at 12 volts, my over voltage at 16 volts and the wind over voltage at 22 volts. Because in the PWM absorption mode, the voltage from the solar panel can reach 20 volts, so 20 volts plus 2 on the auxiliary wind generator, so that it will not slow down in the absorption mode. That works great. Very important ! If the battery is 12 volts, use 12 volt panels. If the battery is 24 volts, use 24 volt panels. Always connect the battery first! This system is great performance!
