I love ironing. I iron quite a bit, I sew a lot of clothes, I iron a lot of linen, my husband works in uniform, I do quilting. I would say I iron at least 3-5 hours a week. I have had 4 different Eurosteam irons ($250 each) for over 14 years. I was very happy with them even though they only seemed to last around 18-24 months each. and so it's time to buy another iron. And so I decided to invest in this iron, I wanted something that wasn't made in China. I wanted a big vapor tank and a decent product, I thought this could be it!. I owned this iron for 15 months, loved it for 15 months, it worked well, it ironed everything I needed quickly and well. So far! 1 year warranty, the boiler is out of order and the iron pad no longer heats. I am extremely disappointed. I spent $449 on an iron that only lasted 15 months. I think I will return to Eurosteam irons!
