Amazing iron, the best among irons and steam irons

I sew. I press. I've spent weeks testing irons and steam presses, gravity irons, etc. I came across the blog of Kenneth King, another sewer/iron specialist, who recommended the i600. So after returning the iron that gave me a 2nd degree burn, I ordered this one. It doesn't have all the features of the i600, but I didn't need them. Although the management left a lot to be desired (hence the one star). I love this iron. I am impressed. My old steam press lasted 15 years. If this one goes the…

Very disappointed. Didn't last very long

I love ironing. I iron quite a bit, I sew a lot of clothes, I iron a lot of linen, my husband works in uniform, I do quilting. I would say I iron at least 3-5 hours a week. I have had 4 different Eurosteam irons ($250 each) for over 14 years. I was very happy with them even though they only seemed to last around 18-24 months each. and so it's time to buy another iron. And so I decided to invest in this iron, I wanted something that wasn't made in China. I wanted a big vapor tank and a decent…

Pros
  • Great for me

I thought it would last longer

I have owned this device for three years. I am a seamstress and I use this for my business up to five hours a day. Having happily spent the money to switch to a professional flat iron, I'm starting to think the thing isn't that professional. It is important to know that this company is headquartered in Canada, where all of their products have to be shipped to. for repair. And, if you read the reviews, most likely a repair. I had to send mine in twice, the first of which was under warranty…

Pros
  • Best in its niche

I'm spoiled for life.

I will never go back to a standard iron again. I've been looking for an iron to replace my old Rowenta for at least half a year. I thought about buying another Rowenta from Costco but figured there must be something better. While researching irons, I came across steam generators. When I first told my wife about it a few months ago, she was curious until she heard the price of the i300. I spent time looking for cheaper solutions, but wasn't interested in getting something with a plastic kettle…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • It makes me angry
