Worked great for the price, harder to clean than more expensive refills.

I have used it three times and everything has been smooth. For me it's much quicker than stuffing sausage right at the exit of the meat grinder. Now this can easily be done by one person if needed. Nothing leaked when filling around the piston as others have reported. I keep it with the plunger removed so it doesn't retain its compressed shape. And I rub some olive oil on the inside of the tube to ensure smooth operation. The bottom of the meat compartment tube is concave, and cooking will leave about 1/2 cup of filling in the tube. Together with what's in the tube, it makes a good burger. I used the next size stuffing tube with plastic wrap to push the stuffing out of the tube at the end. The screw has an air vent for the piston, which worked great. The toppings also came out a little, but minimal. This area cannot be cleaned properly without removing the screw holding the piston in place and pulling the packing out of the tapped hole/threads. I could also see the plugging fluid behind the tube's bottom seal after I cleaned the inside of the tube. So I had to remove the top screw/bracket holding the tube in place. Then I was able to remove the seal and clean it properly. In more beautiful models, the pipe is extended straight for cleaning. Aside from cleaning the part I'm happy with it and would buy again. I don't make sausage often enough to justify what I consider a more expensive topping.
