This jacket really lives up to your expectations for waterproofing and breathability. It is very light and fits in your back pocket. Even through torrential downpours, strong crosswinds and spray from cars like buckets of water being thrown at you, I've stayed dry. No water on the neck or sleeves (velcros are great), no leakage anywhere. Fully breathable so it didn't matter that there were no vents. I think it's better not to mess with flashes while driving. The pockets are small but sufficient. Unfortunately, this jacket was not made in women's sizes. The men's small is a bit big (I usually wear the women's small) but that's not too bad because it's race friendly and I can wear it underneath. It definitely helps against the wind, so I wear it in both dry and wet weather. The reflective detailing is great and looks like it will last. I don't like the red trim (blue didn't come in my size) but the functionality of this jacket won me over and I'm very glad I bought it.
