
I've used it to take selfies and record myself and it does exactly what it promises. where you place it and be careful not to hit it/accidentally knock it over. Chances are, even if you drop it, it won't damage your phone (and probably won't even damage your tripod); it will only be annoying. Don't ask me how I know, hahaha. It was packaged very securely and took about 30 seconds to figure out how to assemble. There are instructions on how to sync the "clicker" with your phone's bluetooth. I plan to use it at home to take photos and record YouTube videos and I think it's great for that purpose. But I wouldn't take it on a hike or anything and expect it to really hold up over time. But that's just me. it might just be great outside. For the price and what I want to achieve I am very satisfied.
