I have been using iosafe backup drives for many years. Luckily I've never had a natural disaster (fire or flood) but having Iosafe in those circumstances would be an incredible relief. A backup to another drive is the only solution, it's paramount to have it on one that can withstand fire or the more likely hazard, water. Quality, packaging, instructions, accessories (cables, power supplies, adapters) are the finest. USB 3.0 speed writes very fast when importing my files from Lightroom to the connected Iosafe. It's worth noting that I'm a professional wedding photographer and Iosafe is the only brand I trust for this basic backup function. This is a company whose products not only stand out as unique, but as the best in the business. Highly recommended.
