
someone said on the back "Conforms to UL STD. 1363, 1449" and that's why I bought it but it doesn't say it. It says it's the standard for something that's unreadable but doesn't conform to the 1449 standard. So if you're looking for 1449, get a whole house surge protector. Otherwise, multiple plugs can be connected to the device, but don't rely on it to provide the required level of surge protection.
