No replacement for Ottlite

I was wrong there. I needed a transparent fluorescent lamp. I needed the same connection as he did. The lamp emits old-fashioned yellow light, not white light. It's a bit difficult to return as it was my fault and I opened the package to try it. I can use it as an emergency backup and luckily it's only a $10 loss.
