I bought this lightbulb to replace a strange manufacturer's lightbulb for two foreign lightbulbs I own. It looked the same, and I took a chance. I'm glad I did, they work great. No problem and I leave the light on all the time!

I was wrong there. I needed a transparent fluorescent lamp. I needed the same connection as he did. The lamp emits old-fashioned yellow light, not white light. It's a bit difficult to return as it was my fault and I opened the package to try it. I can use it as an emergency backup and luckily it's only a $10 loss.
