Sometimes I travel to countries where there is 220v for a few weeks and the charger that came with my toothbrush was a volt. I tried another brand and it was DOA. I got a replacement right away, but that was DOA too. I bought this and it worked great and I can charge my toothbrush from any USB port. It *might* charge *slightly* slower than the standard charger that came with my toothbrush, but the difference is small. I'm happy.
