The thing broke after a week and a half. Installed exactly as instructed and everything is fine. My child was riding and half the running board fell off immediately (lower leg). I put it back on and everything looked fine and it was tight. The next day it fell off again and the piece was gone. Can't attach, can't repair. This article is garbage.
