Never had time to use actual water from product. I spent hours meticulously wrapping an entire roll of teflon tape to get this to work. Numerous leaks were found at the feed water fitting (the fault lies in that cheap plastic fitting) and canister fittings. I've never run the unit for more than 15 minutes, so I can't confirm long-term leaks elsewhere. I tried loosening the canisters (maybe I overtightened them?) and tightening them too. Teflon doesn't help there. There will always be an unacceptable amount of seepage. The end result is hours of work spent on tightening, adjusting, teflon tape, and silicone grease. Poor quality due to high leakage volume. I recommend using a Kent or Bulk Reef Supply reverse osmosis system. PRO: I heard it produces good (not so good) water for the price. Ideal for outdoor installations. CONS: Too many leaks for domestic vehicles. It would be fine for a fish room, but wouldn't you spend more money on a quality RO if you had a fish room?
