Conclusion: They're medium weight, they're thicker than a lot of other toe socks I've tried, and I think a good thing. I've been wearing them regularly (not summer) for almost 2.5 years and they haven't been worn out or punctured at the bottom yet. These are my favorite socks. After washing; they are not low enough for my liking until they get smaller. I'm a size 6.5 or 7 but my toes are quite thick/short so after several washes in hot water and in the dryer they are a bit difficult to put on but manageable. I don't see how they fit a size 11 unless you wash them in hot water or a hot dryer (which I prefer for hygiene reasons). I ended up asking about two other styles for Christmas; I don't like them as much as polka dots, partly because those other styles are thinner for some reason. And I'd like to see a colorful fun stripe pattern. (The high back version is a bit ugly, and cute faces are ok, but that's too much for me.) I've bought more because I know they'll last a long time and be the right height after washing/drying . EDIT: More time passed and I ended up having a few holes in my polka dot socks, but that was after heavy use. I don't think the other 2 models will last as long, but I still don't wear them that often because they are thinner than I prefer (which doesn't wick sweat well). I hope they didn't change the dotted ones to make them thinner as I hope to buy more! I will update again later.
