I was looking for a torch that would give me more power for oak woodwork. I fire personalized wood plaques and many of them have large letters that fill in and not only does this take forever with a smaller burner from an art supply store, but it puts a lot of strain on your hand. After reading some of these reviews, many of the reviews said that the burner tends to burn for a while and then stop. I bought this specifically for a project where I was working on flaming signs with boy scout arrows. The project took a month to make all the signs and the ones that were burned went well. The tips seem a lot more reliable, and give you a bit more options than what comes with the burned one from the craft supply store. I will only buy this stove from now on.
