We were looking for a CD stereo for our bedroom that also has a headphone jack (surprisingly rare these days). This Lonpoo seemed like just the ticket, so we ordered it. The good first: - It's inexpensive - It has a headphone jack (on the back of the unit) - It sounds good (there are several EQ presets) - It has speaker wire connectors (so you can easily connect different speakers to it) Well, about that The bad news (the first one is a deal breaker for me): - This stereo DOES NOT HAVE A PRODUCT SAFETY MARK. (Product safety labels such as UL, CSA, TUV or ETL indicate that a safety laboratory has tested the product and also has manufacturing oversight to ensure the manufacturer does not substitute cheap alternatives for safety components.) - The radio will only operate in the FM band, no AM. - Name (It's a bit awkward to have a product with "Poo" in the name, even if it's correct.) - Overall the product seems very cheap. enough. But since it doesn't carry a third-party safety certification mark, I honestly don't want to risk this super cheap electronic device electrocuting me or burning my house down. It's just not worth the risk to me.
